Back in December 2020, our owner, Sabrina Kaylor, turned a dream into reality with the opening of the original Bizarre Coffee location in Downtown Canton, Georgia.
The space? A tiny historic building full of charm, character, and just enough room to serve great coffee, good food, and the growing community that would soon make Bizarre Coffee what it is today. But seriously when we say small, we mean very small.
The Original Bizarre Coffee Opening in 2020
What that tiny coffee shop lacked in square footage, it made up for in community. Our tiny storefront became the foundation of Bizarre Coffee, helping us build our first group of regulars, establish our very own coffee roastery, and grow from a single coffee shop in Downtown Canton into a company with multiple locations serving communities across the Metro Atlanta area. Today, guests can visit Bizarre Coffee in Canton, Woodstock, and Roswell, with our Acworth location coming soon!
Over the last several years, we've watched thousands of customers walk through our doors, support local coffee, and become part of the Bizarre story. As our team, menu, and customer base continued to grow, it became clear that our original Canton shop needed a little more room to breathe. (Okay, a lot more room to breathe.)
The Downtown Canton Expansion
That vision finally became a reality over the last several months when we were able to take over the space next door and nearly double the size of our shop.
This expansion marks the second major renovation of our Downtown Canton location and adds roughly 1,200 square feet to the shop. The additional space is split between customer seating and behind-the-scenes operations, giving our team more room to work while creating a more comfortable experience for our guests.
The newly expanded space is bright, colorful, and unmistakably Bizarre. With more than 25 additional seats, there's now even more room to gather with friends, get some work done, or simply enjoy a great cup of coffee.

And now, we're excited to officially welcome guests into the newly expanded Downtown Canton location. While the majority of the project is complete, our upstairs seating area will remain temporarily closed as we wrap up a few final building requirements. We'll reopen the space as soon as those finishing touches are complete.
This expansion represents far more than additional square footage. It's a reflection of the incredible support we've received from the Canton community since opening our doors in 2020. What started as a tiny coffee shop in Downtown Canton has grown into a coffee roastery, multiple cafés, and a community we're proud to serve every day.
