1. Burts Pumpkin Farm - Dawsonville

One of North Georgia’s most famous fall destinations, Burt’s has been a family tradition for decades. Expect fields of pumpkins in every size, scenic hayrides through the mountains, and plenty of fall treats like pumpkin rolls. It’s free to visit, making it an easy day trip.

2. Copper Creek Farm - Calhoun

This farm goes all-out for fall with a pumpkin patch, corn maze, pig races, and even a haunted maze at night. Families love the cow train, gem mining, and country store stocked with local goodies.

3. Uncle Shuck's Corn Maze and Farm - Dawsonville

Known for its massive corn maze and family-friendly vibe, Uncle Shuck’s also offers hayrides, a pumpkin patch, and a spooky haunted trail in October. It’s a fun mix of wholesome daytime activities and nighttime thrills.

4. Cagel's Family Farm - Holly Springs

A Cherokee County favorite, Cagle’s combines pumpkins, pig races, a corn maze, and wagon rides. Kids can visit the barnyard animals while parents enjoy the cozy farm atmosphere close to Atlanta.

5. Berry Patch Farm - Woodstock

This smaller, charming patch is perfect for younger kids. Families enjoy the free hayride out to the field, homemade ice cream, fried pies, and boiled peanuts. It’s a sweet spot for a more relaxed fall outing.

6. Yahoo Farm - Jasper

7. Sleepy Hollow Farm - Powder Springs

Sleepy Hollow feels like a hidden gem with its pumpkin patch, corn maze, tractor rides, and farm animals. It’s also a Christmas tree farm, so it’s a fun spot to visit again later in the year.

Best Apple Farms in North Georgia

1. Mercier Orchards - Blue Ridge

Mercier Orchards is North Georgia’s largest apple orchard and a must-visit fall spot. Families flock here for u-pick apples, a sprawling market full of jams and baked goods, and of course, their famous apple cider.

2. Red Apple Barn - Ellijay

Nestled in the apple capital of Georgia, Red Apple Barn is a charming family farm that blends classic orchard fun with cozy mountain vibes. You’ll find pick-your-own apples and pumpkins, a scenic tractor ride out to the orchard, and a farm market stocked with fresh cider, apple fritters, pies, jams, and more. The barn itself has been in the Pritchett family since 1927, and today visitors enjoy yard games, tire swings, picnic spots by the creek, and plenty of photo ops in a relaxed, photo-friendly setting.

3. B.J. Reece Orchards - Ellijay

Family-owned and operated, BJ Reece Orchards is one of Ellijay’s most beloved farm destinations. Open year-round but truly coming alive in the fall. Over 200 acres of apple orchards (plus peaches, nectarines, Asian pears, and seasonal produce) fill the landscape. During apple season, visitors can pick their own apples, explore farm attractions like pony rides, apple cannons, petting zoo, corn maze, wagon rides, giant farm slides, and more. Make sure to stop by their bakery & market for signature goods like fried pies, apple breads, jams, honey, and more.

4. Bella Orchards - Jasper

Bella Orchards is a family-run farm in Jasper that offers a quieter, more intimate orchard experience. They grow strawberries, apples, peaches, muscadines, blackberries, and blueberries, and open for U-Pick when each fruit is in season.

5. R.A Orchards - Ellijay

R & A Orchards is a longstanding, family-owned farm nestled in Ellijay that blends big-orchard scale with a warm, local feel. They operate year-round with a market, bakery, and café, but shine brightest in the fall when guests can pick apples, ride on the tractor & “cow train,” and tour the orchards.
