This new beautiful and complex coffee is a limited edition natural fermented peaberry coffee. Red Catuai varietals are known to have distinct characteristics and sensory properties that are dependent on where it was grown and how it is roasted. For this coffee, you may notice it gives a wonderfully aromatic experience with a mouth feel that complex, rich and bright all at the same time.
What makes peaberries so special?
Well, this is actually a natural mutation of the coffee bean inside its cherry. Normally, beans will grow two to a fruit and will be flat against one another. However, in roughly 5% of the worlds coffee, a single bean is found inside. It's believed that due to it being a single bean, they come out but smaller, denser and much cuter than their counterparts.
